Umar is a certified Civil and Structural Engineer by profession, a Foreign Direct Investment expert by experience and a veteran philanthropist.

He is a principled patriot with an innovative mind, driven by the desire for a better Nigeria. Troubled by the recent events ravaging the country, particularly in the North East where he was born and raised, he is determined to influence change through the Electoral College’s civic education politeracy and reforms in governance.

He is a civil servant serving as a Port Engineer at the Nigerian Port Authority, a founding member and Vice President of Water Support Charity Organization and a Deputy Director (North East) of the Electoral College Nigeria.
